Gene Arlo Franks, Jr., 80, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on November 30th, 2024 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare in Jasper, Indiana. 

He was born in Lafayette, Indiana on January 2nd, 1944 to Gene A. Franks, Sr. and Betty (Halsema) Franks

Gene married Irris Lynn Reasor on June 22nd, 1996 and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gene was a 1962 graduate of Paoli High School and member of Paoli Christian Church.

He retired from Kimball International and had also worked at Paoli, Inc. for many years.

Gene enjoyed collecting knives, antiquing and studying his bible.

 FUNERAL CEREMONY

A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Thursday, December 5th, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at Paoli Christian Church with burial to follow at Paoli Community Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, December 5th, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 11, Paoli, IN 47454.
