Rita Ann Tolbert, 76 of Paoli, passed away May 1, 2020 at her home. She was born April 9, 1944 in Bromer to parents, Harold Wayne & Evelyn LaFerne (Riester) Freed. She married Phillip Tolbert May 27, 1964. Rita retired from Throop Elementary School as a kindergarten teacher's aid. She attended Carter's Creek Christian Church and crochet club. She was part of the "calendar girls" friend group. 

Survivors include: Daughter- LeAnn Pinnick and husband, Brent of Paoli 

Son- Patrick Tolbert & wife, Denise of Cork, Ireland 

Grandchildren: Brendan, Moya & Corwin Tolbert all of Cork, Ireland

Sister- Patty Ashbaugh of Plainfield

Brothers- Ron Freed of Parker, CO & Dan Freed of Tell City

several nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. 

A private graveside service will be held. Bro. Phillip McDonald will officiate. Burial will be at Stampers Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Carter's Creek Christian Church, C/O Shirley Bishop 7056 E. Co. Rd. 450 N. Orleans, IN 47452. McAdams Mortuary is in Charge of arrangements
