With reference to Bernard Duckworth, his brother Brian Duckworth advises me that "Bernie passed away in 1995 from a cerebral hemorrhage. Up until that time, he had been a Baptist minister".

I wanted to leave this note to all that are going to attend the 50 celebration of the class of 64. Unfortunately Stacy and I will not be able to attend, to those that have worked so hard on this event congrats, you have done a remarkable job. To all that attend, please take this to heart, life is way to short to put off anything that you have the ability to work on or accomplish, one might say a bucket list. If you have read my bio I have been truly blessed, I hope that all that attend have a great time remembering then, and making a commitment to what happens next. For us, life is precious, focus on what really matters, our faith, our spouse if we are fortunate to have one, our children, and all those people that have played an important roll in our life, wether it be a teacher, co-worker, neighbor, friend, member of our community or church or a stranger that had an impact on our life. Forgive those who have offended you and most importantly forgive ourselves for holding any ill feelings toward anyone. As I said life is way to short, have a great time, sorry we cannot be there. Michael and Stacy Thompson

"Take the road less traveled." Don't conform and follow the pack. Break free, try new things, go new places, travel, see new horizons and experience life, before you get trapped into the mundane and its to late. You only go arund once and before you know it you'll be celebrating your 50th High School class reunion too.

Being happy can be hard work sometimes.  It's like maintaining a nice home.  You've got to hang on to your treasures and throw out the garbage.----

Walt Disney quotes "(If you can dream it, you can do it.") and ( "That's the real trouble with the world,

too many people grow up." )

"Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever."

1.  Quality is LONG remembered after cost is soon forgotten.  (You never get something for nothing; invest in and cultivate value in all you do!)

2.  Don’t sweat the small stuff! (If it won’t make a difference 5 years from now—F.I.D.O; i.e. Forget It and Drive On!)

3.  No one gets a touchdown in a clean uniform.  (To gain success and achievement you need PASSION and PERSEVERENCE and it takes ENERGY and WORK and SWEAT to accomplish worthwhile goals.  You may get tackled or fall in the mud—but get up and keep going!)
