Happy Birthday to you and good health and prosperity to you and your loved ones. It's shocking to realize yet another year has flown by so quickly. I do still remember the good times we had together, including listening to Cassius Clay on the radio "dance like a butterfly-sting like a bee". And that was a.m. radio, before FM was broadcast I guess we are old now, but better.

I would like to wish you a happy birthday also Phil. Yes, 80 is a big number but never fear, we have both seen worse times. Cyndi and I are currently in southern France wearing our resist fascism buttons and having some interesting simple conversations with French people. They don't hate us and we don't speak French. Moving about is a little more difficult for me that it was 40 or 50 years ago, I hope you're doing it all well. Happy birthday and many more.

Happy birthday Phil, yeah, 79 is getting up there... I can testify to that. I hope you and Cindy are well and continuing to thrive. It would be great to see you guys again one of these days.

What a bummer having your birthday this time of the year because it probably cut way into your gift reception quota. My sister Mary and my mother's birthdays were on December 31st and my brother Geb's birthday was the day before. Same deal for them. It was a pleasure seeing you a few years back. Denny

It makes me happy to know you're still having birthdays. I'm hanging in there too, although another Vietnam vet buddy of mine here just died of something caused by Agent Orange. Everyday is gravy. I like to remember us as we were in high school but never hesitate to look in the mirror. Have a very happy birthday.

Happy birthday phil. And it's a happy day for me as well because now that we are the same age I no longer have that very heavy responsibility of setting a good example for you. I am hoping I have been a good example for you but as I think of my life and my past I am not certain. At least I know that you followed my good example of marrying a fine woman named Cindy.
