My brother, Mike, grew up in Park Forest but attended Rich East his senior year only (his first 3 years were at Marion). He had an amazing scientific mind. Who on earth would spend their leisure time reading chemistry books for pleasure and watch DVD's on quantum physics. Mike's work life started at the dawn of the computer age. He was a systems engineer for all of his career; specifically a senior program analyst. Mike was a scuba diver, (famous photographer of brain coral), sky diver, ski racer (including a compound fracture in a race), a gold prospector, and a master beer maker.
