Jim Glennon passed from a heart attack while sitting at home. He and I had been communicating and planning to try to get together when I was advised he'd passed. Happened WAY to young. Haven't been successful in reaching Carol about the reunion. After Jim's passing, had stayed in touch with his mom until Mama G's passing last year in a nursing home. Jim's sister Jeannie advised me. Jim was one of the nicest guys around, my best friend in h.s. (and a helluva baseball player).
My friend Jim died May 30, 1998 of a massive heart attack at home. I just talked with his widow Carol Christie who was also a member of our graduating class. Carol indicated Jim was in excellent shape so his heart attack was unexpected. Since I joined this web site in May, not a day has gone by that I haven't thought of Jim. I was good friends with Jim and my wife Rita and I attended their wedding in the early seventies. I last saw Jim and Carol on the day of our 10th reunion. People promise your going to stay in contact, but life creates other priorities for all of us. Carol now lives in Bothell, Washington and has two adult children and she teaches high school English.
