I started as a closing assistant at Hubbard County Abstract and Title Company in 2001 just when rates dropped and the market went crazy. I was closing my own loans and real estate transactions within months and have been guzzling Maalox ever since!

Kris and I were married the following May after graduation. We had three boys within the first three years and have lived in Park Rapids the majority of the time with the exception of living in Texas for two years.
Kris is self employed doing stone and concrete work. The boys were all hockey players and between work and hockey that has kept us very busy! Our oldest, Tom, is married to his high school sweetheart, Emily, and is in the Air Force. He is working toward a law degree. Zak is a senior this year and is working toward giving me even more gray hair! (Were we really like that in high school?) Alex is a junior this year. So, we have a graduation this May, another next May, and then I will be an empty nester. Wow! The years sure go by faster the older I get!

hmmmm.....my spare time? In addition to my full time job, I co-manage a retail store on Main Street called Gliks. It is clothing store specializing in Surf and Skate apparel. (Hurley, Billabong, etc..) I am an avid reader and always have a least two books going at once, go to hockey games in the winter and have two golf course memberships and golf at least twice a week in the summer.
