What I've been up to since High School:
I moved to the NW in 92 to attend graduate school at Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR.
I got married in June of 98' and moved to Seattle.
Before completing my Ph. D. in physical organic chemistry, I moved to Seattle with my new husband, Armando (we attended the 10 year high school reunion). After finishing my degree, I worked at an environmental laboratory for a year then taught college chemistry at a few Seattle area community colleges.
While my husband was finishing his Ph. D. in analytical chemistry in 2002, we had our son Marshall. Armando landed a chemistry instructor position at Lower Columbia College in Longview so we moved to Longview in the Fall 2002. I taught college chemistry courses part time at community colleges in the area and at Washington State University. Once Marshall started school, I applied and landed a Forensic Scientist position. I have been working as a Forensic Scientist since April 2006 and love it!
That in a nut shell is what I've been up to the last 20 years. Wow, time flies...
