KURTZ, Susan D., 58, of Hudson, passed away August 23, 2003 in Hudson. She was born in N.J. and moved here 23 years ago from Harrington Park, N.J. She was a property manager for Timber Pines in Spring Hill. She is survived by her husband, John Kurtz of Hudson; three daughters, Judith Zollo of Port Richey, Julie Johnson of Linton, Ind., and Mary Kurtz of Tampa; two stepsons, Todd Kurtz, and Scott Kurtz, both of N.J.; one sister, Judith Shute of Demerast, N.J.; and four grandchildren. National Cremation Society.
Even though Susan and I lived very close to each other, we had entirely different interests; but somehow in high school we found ourselves walking to school together and discussing all sorts of topics On occasion, we could walk home together, also; but different interests, again, frequently didn't make that possible. Different clubs occurred at different times and days. However, phone calls to each other was, also, common. I don't know how we dived apart when I went off to college, but we did. Yet, when we had the last reunion, we sat together and it was like we never stopped being friends. I know you all must miss her greatly, but as I recall, she had a faith in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Know she is in heaven watching you and loving you still.
