Donna Scarsdale Mankovich

I went to college @ Murray State University in KY; returned home to Park Ridge; took a teaching position
in Emerson. I bought my first house in Park Ridge; presently live in Montvale. I taught grade 1 in Emerson until my retirement in 2003. Unfortunately I developed a very painful condition of non-diabetic nueropathy in my feet; by present am finding it very difficult to walk but try not to feel sorry for myself; many have it far worse than I. My father is no longer living but mom is 90 and still living in the Scarsdale home (64 years). I did marry and divorced; my former husband remains a good friend. Barb (Bolig) is now gone but we worked our last "weekend" reunion. Hope all enjoyed it; imagine...it will soon be 50 years and yes, time for another! Love & Hugs to all

I can still remember so many of the good times from grades K-12 & even at present so many of the wonderful classmates that shared those precious years. Often when passing "Park Ridge High School" even now, I proudly share these tidbits: We went to "Park Ridge School"; primary grds. on 1st flr.; middle grds. on 2nd flr.; high school grds. on top flr.; how many laughs that brings to others! Further, I often eat breakfast with John Annilo
who now splits his time between Park Ridge and Nevada. He eats dinner with Paris Simms. We share many school stories. Sadly, Krell Lighting burned close to the ground not long ago. My sister, Susan, had her reunion not long ago. Phil Torchio cares for his 94 yr. old mom in the home where the Torchio family lived all those years ago.
