Tom and I were close in the Senior year and I use to shoot pool with him at the Montvale Lanes and we controlled the table all night. I was very good, but Tom was great. I use to call him "Hawkeye." We concluded the night with a long walk winding up at the Park Ridge Diner where we enjoyed a bottomless cup of coffee. My favorite story about the Diner was while we sat at the counter behind the grille, a customer ordered Scrambled Eggs, and we were watching the cook who looked like the guy behind the chainsaw as he prepared the eggs. A moth landed on the grille, he slapped it and folded it into the eggs. I think I blew my coffe out of my nose and we always brought it up when we saw each other at the reunions. He was an all around good guy.
He will be missed.

Although Linda Shannon has not got back to me, our good friend of the class Janice Henniger O'Brien researched it and found that Tom died on April 23, 2020.
