School Story:
Loved dancing in Orchesis and performing music! Many embarrassing memories... I don't know if you guys remember the "Initiation" for Orchesis members. For a week, we had to go thru various "trials". I remember getting on a bus and walking around in this HORRIBLE green tubular, long halter top ALL DAY!!! To top things off, we had to go to the center squad during lunch and perform a dance or something like that. Anyway, when it came to my turn, of course I got nervous and messed up! I was made to do it again... in front of the school!
I think this was the same day when I tripped at the bus stop after running for the 264 bus on Altadena Drive and Fair Oaks Avenue. I tried to play it off and walked across the street. When the bus came, it was the SAME bus with the SAME folks who witnessed the fall! Knees scraped up and such a mess! Needless to say, I was mortified!!!! (I can laugh about it now!)
