Worked 7 summers at West One Bank (thanks to a very nice reference from Mrs. Christian!!)This allowed me to pay the bills at BYU along with my scholarships. Ate a lot of Potatoes and Top Ramen and walked a ton but was fortunate to leave college debt free!
Loved everything about college and attended as many sporting events as possible and so I'm still a die hard BYU fan. After 3 years I served an LDS mission to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Thanks to Senora Raynor and college classes I had a great start on becoming fluent in Spanish. Returned to BYU and graduated with a BS in Health Science emphasis in education, and minors in PE/Coaching, Spanish, and Drivers Ed. ( I taught Drivers Ed to foreign students for my last 2 years at BYU and stayed alive!)
Moved back to Payette after my mom passed away and it has been great to be close to family. I am very blessed with a great job teaching Spanish, Health, and PE. I also am the Athletic Director and Head Volleyball and Head Track Coach. And just recently I became the ELL Director (so I teach English to K-12 students who need extra help with their language). So I keep pretty busy but that makes life interesting! Currently I'm working on my Masters in Athletic Administration/PE. Hoping to finish this summer or fall.
Love to travel and have had some fun trips with friends and students and look forward to more in the future.
So I'm pretty much loving life and really looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion! I have really liked catching up through the website, so thanks for sharing your pictures and stories!
