Tammy Guthrie (Altman) You guys/gals are so funny!! I live in Axson now. I know how to get to Union Hill, but I am not GREAT with giving directions. I will get the exact (street/roads, etc...) and post it by the end of today. :)

HaHaHa...I live in Axson...that doesn't mean I have become an official Axsonite...come on now Forrest. I teach in your old hometown of Coochee!! That gives me some edge, right?? No...actually I will take a ride...write down the exact miles/street names/road names, etc... I called several people that have lived around Union Hill all their lives...they didn't know the names of the road. They said they just are so used to going that way...they just turn where they are supposed to on "that paved road" so...I will take a ride tomorrow without fail (Lord's Willing). I started back to school this week, and I haven't been able to get them. Check again tomorrow please...

Sherry Tucker (Haskins) Hey, Forrest Doesn't look like too many people are into posting on the forum...huh? I saw the pictures of your lakehouse.......very nice. I used to live on the water, but don't anymore and boy do I miss it. There's nothing like it.

Forrest Paulk Hello Sherry, we really enjoy lake seminole. Dont know what we would do if we ever had to leave. Its nice to sit on the patio and watch the sun come up or watch a full moon over the water. It is like therapy.

Directions to Union Hill Social Hall:

From Main Street in Pearson, GA (Highway 441) turn LEFT directly in front of Georgia Power building onto Austin Avenue/Cogdell Highway. After turning left on this street, you will drive exactly 4.7 miles down the Cogdell Highway. When you have driven 4.7 miles you will turn left onto Union Hill Church Road. That is the name of the road and there is also a church sign. (IGNORE ALL UNION HILL SIGNS BEFORE THIS ONE BECAUSE THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO GET THERE...THIS IS THE EASIEST AND MOST PRACTICAL AS IT IS PAVED ALL THE WAY)

After turning left onto the Union Hill Church Road, it is exactly 0.4 miles to Union Hill Church Social Hall and it is on the right.

Sorry it has taken so long to get this information. I have called several people who live around there and go to church there, but they are so used to driving it and not really paying attention, they were not certain of the names of the roads. Anyway...my husband and I went for a drive and these are the exact directions for all of the classmates who moved away and haven't been to this end of the county for a while. :) Can't wait to see you all.

We have to pay the caterer before the reunion. We need all monies before September 15th. The caterer must be paid in advance.

I am having a real hard time getting this site to work every time. Some of you have been kind enough to respond to my notes on your profiles. I cannot get to the responses, so you may be telling me to leave you alone or to come early on that Friday evening for a drink in the back of your pickup truck. No way for me to know. And it could not possibly be a "user error" causing the problem. ;-

Anyway, I am really looking forward to the reunion in September. I will not have the directions when I get there, and I won't have "a thing to wear." Most likely I will have to shop at WalMart Saturday morning.

Are there any plans for a trip to the river that weekend? Does "the river" still exist?

Tammy Guthrie (Altman) Everyone knows we have a new high school in Atco, right? It is on Highway 441 toward Douglas...About a mile from the old Atco High. It is on the same side of the road as the ole' school. I am so excited about seeing everyone!!!

Shirley Rose, surely, the river still exists. I have a hard time remembering a lot of things, must be older than some of you...lol...but, I do remember Berrien Beach. Shirley, seems like you and I hung out there several times...we need to take Wes there...he would love it!

Do any of you remember the Rat Hole when Heavy Traffic played??? See...memories are slowly coming back....
