Brenda Gallego

A rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m., today at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.

Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 7, at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.

She was born May 15, 1974, in Alpine, was a lifetime Pecos resident, a dental hygienist assistant and a Catholic. She was a 1992 Pecos High School graduate and was currently attending Midwestern State University where she had been accepted into the Dental Hygiene Program. She was one of 25 applicants out of 1000 who had applied for this program.

Gallego was very active in school sports including volleyball, basketball, baseball and track.

Survivors include her father, Billy Joe Gallego of Balmorhea; her mother, Anita Gallego of Pecos; two brothers, Ringo Joe Gallego of Midland, Billy Joe Gallego, Jr. of Pecos; maternal grandmother, Dorothea Victorino of Saragosa and paternal grandfather, Joe Gallego of Balmorhea.

Martinez Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
