Jerry Samuel Workman Sr

Jerry Samuel Workman Sr., 71, of Pecos, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at his residence.

Services were scheduled at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at the First Baptist Church of Pecos with the Rev. Grear Willis officiating.
Graveside services are scheduled Monday at the New Hope Cemetery in Ivanhoe. Arrangements are by Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home.

He was born in Angel-Flatts. He was a teacher and ran an entomology business. He served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard.

SURVIVORS Wife, Emma Workman of Pecos; sons, Jim Workman of Pecos, Michael Workman of Big Spring and Jerry Workman Jr. Telephone; daughter, Lindley Alyea of Seguin; and seven grandchildren.
