Edward Brian Nolen

Poughkeepsie - Edward Brian Nolen, born on February 29th, 1952, peacefully passed the morning of November 13th, 2011 with his best friend and son Adam Nolen, 32 and his daughter Amber Nolen, 29 by his side. Edward is the son of the late Carmella and Chester Nolen of Peekskill, NY. In addition to his son and daughter, he is survived by his brothers Donald and Jeffrey Nolen, his granddaughter Tierney and close family ties: Clyde Costa, Antonia Cruz and David, Brittany, Breanna and Brandy Youngman. Edward was predeceased by his brother George Nolen Sr.

Edward grew up in Peekskill, NY and raised his family in Beekman, NY. He was a devoted family man, who served in the Army National Reserves, and was retired from Con Edison in December, 2010.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 20th from 2-6 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.

The funeral service will be at 10am on Monday, November 21st at the Church of Saint Mary, 231 Church Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Interment will follow at Saint Peter's Cemetery, 147 Salt Point Rd., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
