SORICELLI, LEO JOSEPH CHIPPER JR. - Leo Joseph Soricelli of Buchanan, NY, on January 29, 2003. He was 51. He worked as a frame technician for Nynex and Verizon in White Plains, NY. for over 20 years before retiring in 1998. He was born November 20, 1951 in Peekskill to Leo and Viola Zito Soricelli, Sr. He graduated from Peekskill High School and attended Nasson College in Maine and Westchester Community College. Chip was an avid reader and a gifted artist who often made drawings to make people laugh. He is survived by parents Leo J. and Viola Soricelli of Peekskill, sister Barbara (Robert) Stuck of Hopewell Junction, NY, a nephew, Andrew Stuck and many cousins and several aunts and uncles. Calling hours are Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass is Monday 10 am at Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Leo loved children and in lieu of flowers, he would have appreciated memorial donations to be made in his name to The Children's Hospital Foundation at WMC, 1 Kids Corner, Valhalla, NY, 10595.
