ZIMMERMAN BRUCE, - Bruce Zimmerman, of Peekskill, died on June 3, 2006. He was 55. Mr. Zimmerman worked as a Chef at several area restaurants. He was born October 27, 1950 in Peekskill, NY to Alan and Genevieve Malloy Zimmerman. He was a 1969 graduate of Peekskill High School then later graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. On January 22, 1982 he married Lorraine Liberatore in Peekskill, NY. Locally he was an Eagle Scout and outstanding athlete in High School. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine “Lori“ Zimmerman, of Peekskill; daughter Jaime Lynn Zimmerman, of Peekskill; one sister, Theresa Valentine. Family members who died earlier include, one sister, Joan Tallerico; two brothers: Alan “Gus“ Zimmerman and Robert Zimmerman. Calling hours are Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Joseph F.
