Peter F. DeMarco of Peekskill, NY passed away on August 8, 2009, he was 60 years old. Mr. DeMarco worked for General Motors in North Tarrytown and also owned and operated "Pete's Place Tavern" in Verplanck, NY for six years. He was born on September 13, 1948 in Peekskill to Joseph and Laura Fotino DeMarco. A longtime resident of Peekskill, he was a Peekskill High School graduate. Peter was a long time fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. He is survived by a brother, Joseph (Toni) DeMarco and two sisters, Marilyn (Vincent) Vanca and Marianne DeMarco. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Kristin DeMarco, Joey (Katie) DeMarco and Jody (Christopher) Gazzigli, and his great nieces and nephews, Joseph, Jr., Laura and Christopher. Predeceased by his daughter, Nicole DeMarco. Visitation is Monday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the JOSEPH F. NARDONE FUNERAL HOME, Peekskill, NY. The Funeral Mass is Tuesday, 10AM at the Assumption Church. Followed by Private Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , Memphis, TN. JOSEPH F.
