Philomena (Fanny) Lasorsa, a White Plains resident, died March 6, 2008 at the age of 59. She was born October 8, 1948 in Peekskill to Angelo and Filomena Lasorsa. She was a graduate of Peekskill H.S. where she was voted most mischievous. She loved to travel to warm climates and enjoyed the beach. Fanny worked at the Croton Watch Co and later as an X-Ray technician at the Peekskill Hospital for many years, retiring in 1983. She then worked as a nanny for many families over the next several years. She is survived by her long time companion, Vicky Sanfelice of White Plains and 2 brothers, Angelo Lasorsa Jr. and Nicholas Lasorsa, both of Peekskill and her sister, Chris Sullivan, of Kill Devil Hills, NC. She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews, 38 great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends who meant so much to Fanny. She is predeceased by her sister Rose Stufano. Fanny also leaves behind her dog, Jessie Baby Girl. Visitation will be on Saturday from 5-9pm. Please make donations to The Crohm's foundation or St. Jude's Hospital.
