Richard L. McCrae, 69, a life-long Peekskill resident passed away on November 23, 2016. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967-1969. Richard worked for 33-yrs in maintenance and as a custodian in the Peekskill City Schools, until retiring in June 2003. He is survived by his son and daughter, James and Lisa McCrae; and his longtime companion, Carolyn Whitted. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, 3 sisters and 1 brother, nephew and cousins. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 9-11am at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:30am, followed by interment and military honors at the Rose Hill Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY
