Obituary for David Diorio
David A. Diorio of Peekskill, died February 22, 2001. He was 48. David was working for Metro North for the past 27 years, where he had been a signal supervisor for the past several years. David was born August 30, 1952 in Yonkers to Alfred P. and Barbara Irving Diorio. He has lived in Peekskill since 1955 and graduated from Peekskill High School in 1970. On April 24, 1976, he married Linda J. Walker in Peekskill. His hobbies included woodworking and computers. David is survived by his wife, Linda J. Diorio, two daughters, Kimberly M. and Michelle L. Diorio, his parents, Alfred P. and Barbara I. Diorio, all of Peekskill, a sister, Christine S. Giuliani of Garrison, four brothers, Steven G. and Thomas A., both of Hopewell Jct., Alfred Peter Jr. and Christopher J., both of Peekskill, also several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30pm Monday at the E.O. CURRY FUNERAL HOME, 313 North James Street, Peekskill, where friends may visit on Sunday from 7-9 pm. Interment Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Peekskill Community Volunteer Ambulance Corp., 1427 Main St., Peekskill, NY 10566.
