Virginia Gilleo (Tadlock)

Sadly, I have to post that I have found yet another classmate from 1970 who has passed away.  Rest in peace, Ginny.

 


Virginia 'Ginny' Dawn Gilleo Tadlock, 64, a longtime Buchanan resident passed away May 25, 2017. Born on October 26, 1952, daughter of the late Robert D. Gilleo Sr. & LaVerne E. Mackey. She was a graduate Peekskill HS, class of 1970. Ginny worked as a bus driver in the Croton-Harmon School District for 27-yrs., until retiring. She was an avid fan of the Croton Football team. She was a Yankee and Nascar enthusiast. Ginny was a life-time member of the Verplanck Fire Ladies Auxiliary. Ginny is survived by her significant other Richard Conklin; her son, Jim (Heather) Tadlock; her daughter Stacy Conklin; her 2 brothers, Robert (Ruth) Gilleo Jr., and Kenneth (Sharon) Gilleo Sr; and her 5 grandchildren: Casey Lang, Jacob Tadlock, Jessica Conklin, Justin Chalk and Alexus Tadlock; her step-father, George Gilleo and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her son, James Alvah Tadlock Jr. Our mom was a devoted, loving & caring person, she was OUR HERO! She was well loved & liked by all who knew. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 29th from 4-8pm at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill, where a Funeral Service will be held 10am, Tuesday, May 30th followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
