drafted into Army 1968 spent 2 years Fort Richardson Anchorage Alaska married sue 7-19-1968 who went to Alaska with me after discharge went back to work for JP Donnelly at Parkway Sun on North division St Peekskill. Started working for Morgan Fuel Poughkeepsie NY in 1972 shortly after we bought our 1st home in Fishkill. Heather our daughter was born 11-23-1974.
Built and ran late models at Accord Speedway from 1974 to 1985 usually finishing out the season in the top 3. You might say it's in my blood. After retiring from full time racing I built and ran antique stock cars at many tracks including the Syracuse Race Track. Was and still am pitcrew for Robbie Green.
We bought a second home in Walton NY in 1985 where we spent as much time as we could in spring summer and fall started off as a one room schoolhouse. Happy to say that as of 2-25-2015 we moved there full time after selling our home
in the hamlet of Chelsea NY after living there for 38 years. I retired from Morgan Fuel/Bottini Fuel in Jan 2015 after overs 42 years.
In the year of 2014 we began fostering puppies for Crate Escape Wappingers Falls and Recycled Pets in Mohegan Lake we fostered and helped 26 pups to be adopted the last one becoming ours a 10 wk great pyreness was added to our growing family of Golden retriever, Siberian Husky, Boxer also 10 wks and our
comical stray we took in.
In 2015 I was inducted into the Dutchess County Sportsmen Hall of Fame for racing.
