Comments:
I left the Valley of the Sun around 1978 and moved to Denver, Colo. where I lived for 16 years.
During this time, I began a professional career with the Travelers Ins. Company in their Corp. Real Estate Divison that lasted until I retired in 2006. Somewhere in the middle of that timeframe the company was "downsizing" and invited me to move to Dallas, if I wanted to keep working for them. This move turned out to be great for career opportunities, but I missed the Rocky Mountains.
While in Dallas, I was able to find my wife, Jan. We went together for 10 years before we married as she was a high school teacher living in South Fort Worth and I lived in Plano, a town 20 miles north of Dallas. The distance between our homes was about 65 miles and during rush hour traffic this would mean a 2 hour drive to get to work, so we were weekend lovers.
To Be continued.
