Wendy Miller Zella

I have so many fond and funny memories. I know I'm very fortunate to have gone from Kindergarten to Senior year all in the same school system. The Museum, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Zoo. Overnight class outing with Mrs. Fitzgerald to the Henry Ford Museum. Hiram Camp, Gettysburg, and Washington D.C. I remember Mrs. Ely and campaigning for our favorite candidates. Being scared and excited my first day as a freshman. Getting people to vote for the school levy to get the new high school built. Watching the JV and Varsity cheerleaders and never dreaming I'd be a wrestling cheerleader - thanks Blair. Painting banners and making our cheer leading outfits. Studying "hard" but laughing a lot harder. Trying to speak Spanish and getting my nickname: Natividad. Loving English and not doing that great in math (thank God for calculators). Summer school Chemistry. Drag racing against Robbie. Teacher parodies with Steve and Jesus Christ Superstar. All the dances (thanks Bob Hein for my first slow dance) and proms. Being in Oklahoma in middle school. Field hockey and gymnastics. Hiram College and the yearbook staff. Homecoming court.
