Sharon Duboff Hoelzle

In January of 2015, I passed out at work. My life completely changed in that moment. I'll spare you the story, if you're interested, feel free to email me. I have two major chronic illnesses that have left me wheelchair bound and I have a service dog. Her name is Zoey and she's in the picture above with me. I have Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD, also known as CRPS- Complex Regional Pain Syndrome).

After Girls's High, I went to Chestnut Hill College and received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I later attended Gwynedd Mercy College and received my Master of Science Degree in Elem. Guidance Counseling. I taught in Philly for a bit and then worked for Perelman Jewish Day School as an Administrator in charge of Special Ed. I went back to Phily at the end of my contract and worked for 12 years at Farrell Elementary School. As I wrote above, I am now disabled. I live in Langhorne with my husband Bryan, our two boys Matt & Jarett and my service dog Zoey.
