School Story:
I have so many memories.Walking to the shopping center and getting old shoe heels from the shoe repair man in the back of Grants to use for hop scotch...everyone remembers Pauline & Eddie's...summer bicycle races in our driveway behind Fariston drive...Bonnie Neubauer and I doing everything together...running away to Jill Kronick's house 2 doors away until my Mom called and said come home for dinner..summer carnival at Finletter...being Mr. Jaffee's mothers' helper for his wife and kids during the summer..sitting around Susan Ellis' dining room table while trying to help Mr. Jaffee win a democratic committee position during an election..my Dad hating that our side walk was the unofficial 50 yardline where the kids played football because we were at the flat part of the street... having the gang get together on Friday nights in a different basement and ordering pizza from Harvey's pizza and collecting 10 free discs for a free pizza... meeting Susan Fingrutd on the XO bus every morning on our way to Girls' High...BBYO and Levi Eshkol...driving to NJ with Meryl Barenbaum to scope out Bobby Clarke's house...playing freeze tag and red light green light on the steps on a summer night...trying to call Mark Spitz after he won 7 olympic medals with Sari Shankin and of course finding out his phone number was disconnected...always having great friends to play with by just stepping outside your door
