Why Larry, is it the rime that is lame or the writer? Both probably, huh? I'm surprised, I would have thought you'd liked the thing. Oh well, I calls 'em as I sees 'em. Good to hear from you.

Larry,
Doin' well me boy, and glad you're still kickin! It's great to be in contact with old classmates. I see you now as you were then, young, playful and smiling. I'm on facebook but I rarely use it. Thanks for publishing my work. And let me know how you're doing, too. The pandemic killed over 600,000 and our 60th reunion, but our sense of humor survives.

Some good times. RIP

I have only fond memories of the Sergeant Major. we were at wagner and germantown together and were in samson aza..
larry was always a bit over top, but he was someone you wanted on your side when trouble showed up..one memory that stands out from the rest thanks to gary's jogging of my memories was an incident that took place in atlantic city.. approx 3000 of us, or more, were booked in to the ascot motel. we had one room and slept on any bare piece of floor..
anyway, we were in the pool and ''freezer'' decided to climb on the rail of the third floor and dive into the pool..obviously, he survived but scared everyone ..that along side the nights spent at the ''pit'' bowling alley and the upsal street playground are good memories.
an old grunt salutes the ''Sergeant Major'' outstanding job young trooper. rest in peace.
