Most of my career has been in radio, working in news, later becoming a program director and even later heading the marketing department for a block of seven stations in South Florida. Lived in Washington, D.C. for 10 years (my left foot has actually been in the Oval Office), moved to the Fort Lauderdale, FL area in 1983. Author of two children's books: "NEVER GOOSE A MOOSE...AND A BUNCH OF OTHER THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO, and ABOUT A FARM. And, just out, an adult historical novel of intrigue, THE POPE'S STONE. All the books have their own website and all are available at amazon.com and one at barnesandnoble.com . Meanwhile, I married my first real girl friend; I was her prom date. We met in 1963 shortly after graduation (so I was a little slow in high school). We married in '67 after I graduated from Penn State and she from nursing school at St. Joseph's Hospital in N.Philly. Nowadays, we share aches and pains, try to remember names and dates, hope our Social Security doesn't tank and wonder where the missing whachamacallit is. Still very good friends with my GHS buddies, Don Haskin and Ed Nowak--two long, long friendships I wouldn't trade for anything...'cept maybe my '53 Chevy.
