My wife is at the Loft with her girlfriends....something is wrong with this picture. Let's all get SERIOUS for a minute and figure out if we are going to do this, at Adelphia, on that date or not??? If the dep is not in by Monday we loose this date like we lost Sat night. I really feel bad that Louie Can't make it, (it's not right having Mark without Louie, It's like Abbott without Costello, like peanutbutter without Jelly, like Hem without Rhoid.).. but at this juncture, if we keep changing dates, we're going to have to have this in July, becuase we already found out a Fri or Sat in June is almost impossible to book (weddings, graduations). Really..If anyone SERIOUSLY objects say so now so we can see what else can be done, if not - DEPOSIT GOES IN By Monday!!! My money is in this so don't screw me here people. MG

03/06/09 09:08 PM #1118     Grace Della Valle I think we are all very grateful to Maria, Lori, Mary Lou, Gerry and anyone who had a hand in getting this orgainized. I certainly am. But, if there are some really strong opinions here, whats the harm in listening to them? and if we still decide to have it at Adelphia, then that's fine. Here is my opinion: I think the reunion would be great in South Philly for the following reasons: - it is a central point for those who live in different areas to get to(nj, and PA suburbs, etc) - We can take the picture on the church steps. - We grew up there. As far as the church hall goes, I an not totally opposed to it except for the fact that as Maria points out, its a lot of work. And what with everybody being so busy, I think that would be tough to pull off Again, that is my opinion. I am sure everyone has one. So where does that leave us? Maybe back to the vote? I also agree that we need to decide once and for all and move on..

Iv'e listened to both sides of the fence & agree that both sides worked very,very hard in bringing this beautiful reunion together!! Bravo to ALL/EVERYONE'S GREAT efforts...Bravo!!! But can we ALL meet in the middle, so everyone feels good about this GREAT gathering that's about to take place.We haven't seen each other in 30-yrs(well most of us).I'm sure we are all having some issues of some sort w/our trying economy/life. I am available,if effort/hands-on is required for getting it together @ St.Richard's Hall. I am sick & unemployed @ this time...did I mention that I'm home all day w/a very hyper(Thank God)three-yr.old,who would love to get his hands on anything/everything. He loves balloons,helping & talking & talking & talking. I wonder where he gets that from... Please guys & gals...I'm all about peace & love.I would like to walk away from this w/nothing but wonderful memories & another class reunion picture on St.Richard's Church steps. Maria

I want to thank the committee and Billy for doing ALL the legwork into finding us a suitable venue to have this get together. At this point, I'd like to offer my house as the venue for this reunion. Believe me, I've hosted bigger parties at my house. I'll barbecue and they'll be no time limit. Also, there won't be any cost to anyone. Everyone eats and drinks for free. (Not that I advocate drinking, but I'd supply the "open bar" too.) I'm not kidding, we can do this at my house in Sewell, NJ. We can have it on Saturday afternoon so everyone can make it. I'm dead serious. Let's have it on Quail Hollow Drive. Everything's on me, except the DJ. Let's vote on that. I'm serious. We can smoke there too. (I love to smoke. Been smoking cigars for years and my lung feels great (lol). Let me know. Vinny
