Because I live in Colorado and get some additional info, Colorado is a sanctuary state so it stands in the way of I.C.E. Performing its Congressional Required duties.  The fire bomber in Boulder was designated for removal from Our Country.  He applied to buy a firearm and was turned down because his work visa had expired and therefore he was here illegally.  All these burn victims wouldn't be suffering now, and probably for the remainder of their lives from the burns and terror they experienced!  If he had been turned over to I.C.E. by the State of Colorado and removed from Our Country.  I am sick about the anti-Semantic waccos in this Country.

IS AI GETTING OUT OF CONTROL? Are our worst fears of AI coming true? This is frightening.

This terrorist in Boulder is/was an Egyptian.  My Wife and I were in Egypt in April and I learned a lot.  One of the things I learned was that during the Arab Spring the Muslim brotherhood took over Egypt and ran it for 1 1/2 years until the Egyptians fought back and removed the radical Muslims.  This terrorist in Boulder had applied for Political protection to stay in America.  It was denied because Egypt is not considered by us as any sort of threat and in fact cracks down on anything radical Muslim and now has monitors in all its Mosques to know what's being presented because the Mosques were where the Muslim brotherhood got control.  I'm wondering if this terrorist is/was a member of the Muslim brotherhood and exactly when did he come to America?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEWITT. MANY MORE MY FRIEND.

Frank W. The killers that Biden purposely allowed across our Southern Border are no doubt hiding out in many wilderness places in the entire USA because Biden gave them, or else Liz Warren, because we know now she was in charge of the Electric Pen, free plane rides all over the USA wherever their little Pea Brains wanted to go. Just think of all the Money it is going to cost us now that we have to deport them and give them DUE PROCESS HEARINGS BEFORE WE TOSS THEM OUT OF THE PLACE OVER THE AMAZON RIVER BACK HOME. WHY DIDN'T WE GET DUE PROCESS HEARINGS ABOUT WHETHER WE WANTED THEM HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. With Democrats the Saloon Door only swings in one direction I guess.

We could train new special forces troops to thrive on the rogors of outdoor living by scattering all over the  USA and finding out where these ner-do-wells have dug in. That way they get trained, and we get the illegals our of here, and don't have to subject the Law Enforcement people to the litigation they would no doubt have to endure by the supporters here who already live here and support the Illegals.

WHY is it that when I push 1 for English, I still can't understand the person on the other end?

06/04/25 04:57 PM #15084

Michael Kelly

My problem with "1" for English, and which I have told numerous Foreign Speakers, is tor them to SLOW DOWN, I tell them I am 78, I may have the Beginnings of Alzheimer's, and my Ears are slower now too, and that if they want to have half of a chance to Swindle me out of my Social Security, they need to get the Seeds out of their Mouth, and ENUNCIATE SLOWLY AND CLEARLY. THEY USUALLY HANG UP AFTER I SAY ALL THIS GRUMPILY. IF THAT DOESN'T WORK, I START SNORING, AND THEY UNDERSTAND I NEED A NAP.

I listened to the FOX NEWS excerpt above, about AI getting too bossy, taking over, etc etc Aint  gonna happen with me, I have a wall socket and I know how to pull out the electrical cord, and AI your a dead varmint ASAP and then, I TAKE A NAP.

A Movie that I enjoy and which explains the Deficits that us Senors must operate within, is called "Second Hand Lions". Michael Caine and Robert Duvall play two brothers who left Texas to tour Europe and it just so happens they arrive in Paris right at the time the Germans are taking over. One of the funniest Scenes and it is repeated in the  Movie, is how they entertain themselves, no TV, no telephone, but they sit on the front porch in Rocking Chairs, 12 Gauge Shotguns at the Ready, and drink Iced Tea, and wait for the Traveling Salesmen to show up, so that  they can run them off with their Shotguns. Wholesome, Clean, Straightforward Leisurely Activity that is highly entertaining. I recommend it ------------------ The Movie.

Secondhand Lions is a great movie. One of my favorites. I have it on DVD.

Field of Dreams was another good one.

So, now Musk and Trump are at odds. What happened? Some say that Musk feels that Trump's "ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL" will threaten his  Tesla business, and the decision not to use Starlink for aviation control. Whatever it is that he has stuck in his craw, it's amazing how the Democrats, who hated Elon a week ago, now love him, just like when they loved Teslas before Trump then started burning and vandalizing them and the dealerships—such fair-weather friends.

I'm leaving for Alaska tomorrow for two weeks, if something goes bellyup, email me, otherwise enjoy your free playtime.

Patty, I'm happy Buzz didn't take you to McDonalds.  Have a great time in Alaska and for our Classmates who have never been there and still can go-------go.  It is the wildest place, in a good way, I have ever been.  Some people hate politics.  Some people love politics.  I love the craziness of it.  I try to always view it in a humorous prism.  The Liberals love Elon.  Then the Liberals hate Elon!  Now the Liberals love Elon again.  Karine Jean Pierre is a loyal Liberal Left Wing Joe Biden Defending "DEMOCRAT" until she/he decides he/she wants to sell a book and then suddenly becomes a independent.  Now the D.E.I. selection K.J.P. is an outcast of the Democrat Party.  You have to admit it's a comedy show?

I think Trump and Musk need a Referee of sorts, someone who will just pop up and say  "Canl't We all just Get Along" like Rodney King, or LA Riots Fame. What about the Big Beautiful Bill is the grievous Err that has Musk's feathers all ruffled. No body gets all they want with these Bills, its too bad sometimes, but it is polltics. So maybe we are headed towards the imposition upon us of what is called a Benevolent Dictator.?

George Clooney was on Fox News wearing a light Gray baseball cap, I guess to match his hair, and he was expressing a concern that Trump was going to retaliate against him.Is this some kind of ominous sign. Do we care.

Over here in the San Gabriel Mountains that border most of LA County, with its huge population, yesterday, hikers were hiking out by I think it was north of Glendora, and they heard rocks falling from the mountain side above them. In Checking Closer, they spotted 11 Bighorn Sheep feeding on the Slopes. It is amazing how Wildlife that you would never expect in a thousand years to appear closeby, one day you wake up and are informed that the Species is living right in your area. Close to where I live, in Kern County, there is a Wild Horse Herd and it has lived here for years. The herd now exists alongside some of the largest wind turbines in the USA and the herd's numbers seem to be growing.

Have a good weekend everyone. Remember, in Ronald Reagan's famous words, "Hi, I'm from the Government, and I'm here to Help"

On this day in 1944, 73,000 Men crossed the English Channel.  That was the last time many of them crossed any body of water.  I can imagine the fear of what it was like being on a landing craft in the second wave and later and watching your Brothers drop on the beach and not moving.  God Bless those who died and their families for making the ultimate sacrifice!!  Let us never forget!!

When I was a kid the sirens meant we were to ‘duck and cover’.  Here, they mean tornado conditions nearby.  Well, we’ve had two such warnings in the last week (welcome to Oklahoma!).  Nothing but heavy rain so far, but we have gotten to try out our new storm shelter.  Luckily, the National Weather Service is headquartered here, so I think we’ll still be getting great weather forecasts despite their recent 10% downsizing overall.

BTW, I heartily agree with Frank’s sentiment, except I really cannot imagine the fear in those landing crafts.  Pretty sure I’d be miserable anyway, since I routinely get seasick on party boats in calm waters.

David, as I said when you first moved to Oklahoma, "WELCOME TO TORNADO ALLEY." We've had some stormy weather here as well, but so far, no tornadoes or tornado warnings. Maybe I should knock on wood. lol

I enjoyed visiting with you and your wife at the reunion. I hope we can all get together again soon.
