Today with great sorrow, but also with gratitude, we remember and honor the life of Charlie Kirk. His passing is a heartbreaking loss for his family, his friends, and the countless people whose lives he touched.
Charlie was more than a political activist or commentator — he was a leader with a vision. At just 18 years old, he founded Turning Point USA, an organization that grew into a national movement inspiring young people to engage in civic life. What began as a dream became a powerful force, encouraging students across the country to speak up, to lead, and to embrace the values they believed in.
He was a gifted communicator — through his books, his speeches, and his podcast The Charlie Kirk Show, he reached millions. Whether you agreed with him or not, there was no denying his ability to energize, to challenge, and to motivate. He believed that the next generation could and should shape the future, and he dedicated his life to making that possible.
Charlie’s work ethic was relentless, his passion undeniable, and his influence far-reaching. He stood firmly for what he believed in, even when it was difficult, and he poured his heart into mentoring young people who would carry forward the torch of leadership.
To his loved ones, Charlie was not just a public figure, but a son, a husband, a father and a friend. He will be remembered for his humor, his kindness, and his unwavering dedication to those around him.
While his life was cut tragically short at only 31 years of age, Charlie’s impact will endure. His vision lives on in the people he inspired, the students he empowered, and the conversations he started.
It is my hope that we honor his memory not only with words, but by carrying forward the values he held dear — courage, conviction, and a belief in the power of the next generation. I admired him greatly and he seemed to be a fountain of common sense.
Rest in peace, Charlie. You will not be forgotten.
