At West High I was kind of a quiet, shy guy. Did Track and Cross Country my freshman year. Enjoyed science and electronics classes, struggled with math and was ok in English (which is a good thing since I became a internal comms guy in an IT Operations group at Intel Corp.
Met my (then to be future) wife (Donna Schutte) in a German language class I took as a freshman. Didn't see her again until right after graduation where I bumped into her at a JC Penney's where she was working in the Gift Wrap department. As it turned out, my best friend Matt Joralmon was dating Donna's best friend so it was an easy double-date situation!
We got married a little over a year after leaving high school and had a daughter (Brandy) the following year. My son Andrew followed 6 years later and my youngest son Adam 2 years after Andrew.
While working at Intel, we moved to Folsom, California for about 3.5 years but moved back because we really missed Arizona. That and the majority of our relatives were here!
Retired after working 39.5 years at Intel. Couldn't pass up a separation package they were offering. Now busier than ever!
Two of our 3 kids are married and those two each have three children, making us grandparents.
