Larry Keyes

Moved back to Yuma in June 1971 just after graduation and dad's death in May. Completed degrees in Electronics and Radio Broadcasting (Journalism) at Arizona Western College. Attended ASU 1 year in Theatre under Ted Swanick. Worked as Radio Broadcast Engineer in Yuma for nearly 25 years. Also, worked as DoD Telemetry and Industrial Instrumentation Tech at US Army Yuma Proving Ground, USBR Desalting Plant, and City of Yuma Water/Wastewater plants, with other electronics jobs in between. Spent 25+ years at Arizona Western College Little Theatre, acting some, but mostly being the LD, House Electrician, Run Crew Head, and Adjunct Faculty in Lighting there.
Since 1999 living in the wilds of Tennessee, on an acre, tending to our cat farm and my dear wife.
Upon becoming a TN resident Theatre was supplanted by writing as a creative outlet. At any one time there are literally 20 or more book projects in the works, mostly bios with some fiction thrown in for good measure.
Having never been invited to a reunion makes me wonder who I pissed off...or on?

Bill Abbott and Dennis Zoha were my best friends all four years at West High. There were some other terrific people that deserve mention, though I will miss a lot of other good people - Steve Arnold, Tony Watson, Vicki Hallabrin, Gayle Reid(my secret heartthrob), Richard Gerry, Michael Charnofsky, Robin & Fred Hintze, Linda Kopchak, and for the rest I beg mercy.
Our class song my Senior year was White Room by Cream.
There is not enough room here for all the funny and embarrassing stories I so clearly recall. One of my book projects now underway is a history of West High, and the greater Valley of the Sun story...two books. I NEED HELP, so PLEASE SEND INFO to help compile these histories.
