Nancy Smith "MONROE"

Have been married a couple of times so I have had lots of last names... Went by Howell (Step Fathers name) in grade school (Simpson) / Smith in High School / Proper... 1st Marriage... yep... Mrs. Proper...NOT! / took my Moms family name of Monroe after the divorce / Married and added Scott / divorced and took off the Scott... maried James Kimak (JFK marries Monroe..lol) AND NOW, I simply go by "MONROE" my PKA (Professionally Known As). Soooooooooooooo call me Nancy if you want but everyone knows me as "MONROE" ;)

Traveled a lot... I've seen and done more than most. Now I live in Up-State NY and created a large Fashion Boutique and Cafe called Monroe's Place. Sold the business and living a stress-free retired life. Biking, hiking, kiaking, hanging with the dog and my husband fills my time now.

Tried to be "cool" but was too small cuz boys liked boobs and I didn't have any then...lol Was a pretty good athlete... gymnast with Irene. Art classes were my favorite. Did okay as a student but could have done soooo much better (you know how the 70's were). Hitch-hiked to McDonald's most every day with my best friend Dori McIntire. Did the Weed & Boones Farm but good quality Vodka is more my thing now and waiting for NY to legalize the herb.

Dori & I helped Barry Sweet and his pals put the pic-nick tables up on the quad roof! Was scared that we wouldn't get our diplomas if they found out... OMG it was fun though! Had a huge secret crush on skateboarder (Mike Larsen). He was also part of the pic nick tables prank guys and helped pull me up on the roof (didn't wash my hand for a week)! I became a pretty good skateboarder after high school myself. Then I went onto quad speed skating. Even got recruited by a professional roller derby team. LA club promoter, artist management, model agency & indie-record label owner (etc) during the 80's. Raised my only daughter as a single parent. And that's just some of the stuff I've done. If I could do it all over again I would only change a few minor things... other wise it was all good. STILL"Kicking ass" as in living life to the fullest!

I am not the sit back and watch life go by kind of girl! Hope to connect with anyone that remembers me.
