Cheryl Patterson Hovis

John and I married many, many, many years ago. We have two children and they have blessed us with 6 grandchildren. Our son Johnny, married a pretty, fun-loving gal, Brenda. They had 4 children - beautiful 13 year old 'Teen Twins' girls, a 6 yr. old sassy, adorable girl and a really cute, rusty boy. Johnny's career is in research and development of golf clubs and tour rep with Fugi Kura.

Our daughter, Christa is married to a great guy, Brian and the mother of two boys. Jack is a smart, sharp 12 year old. Nicholas is our amazing, 9 yr. old artist. You would be blown away with his talent and seeing his artwork. Christa is creating a non- profit company to help fund school projects and is on the Carlsbad, Ca mayor's council.

Every summer, John and I have what we call - 'Camp Hovis'. Once a week, we do something special with our oldest grandchildren, for example, horseback riding, tours, Legoland, boat rides, fair, SeaWorld, of course, the beach and much more. The younger ones are getting old enough to join our fun.

My career was in sales and sales management. As a regional manager for Welcome Wagon, I was responsible for a 5 states territory, with 100s of sales reps and many sales managers. I also, worked for Prentice Hall Publishers and a vocational school counselor. As you can tell, I am very proud of my family and live a loving, happy life. Life is Good - hope the same for the class of '66. Wow - 50 years - Really? I am still '16' on the inside....Smiles, Cheryl
