Gordon Pardee

WOW! As most of us baby-boomers, I've been really, really busy. I'm currently in my 3rd career. First, I worked as a free-lance carpenter for 7 or 8 years in New Mexico and Arizona. Second, I enlisted & served in the US Marines for 4 years. Third, I finally got my Bachelor of Science in Mgmt degree from Pepperdine University in 1992 and have been a contract administrator for the County of Orange, Calif for the past 20 years.

From Freshman year at Central: trying not to laugh out loud in Ms. Hoezel's Algrebra I class every time Dave Simmons said or did something outrageously humorous.

At the 40th Reunion, Steve Brock, Chris Sorauf, John Sattenspiel, my wife Debra, and I cruised the old neighborhood where we grew up while attending Madison Simis Elementary. Steve, Chris, and I all lived on 13th Place just north of Glendale Ave. Steve paused his SUV in front of our former homes, and the young father (who was a pastor at a Phx. church) who had recently moved into my house was in his front yard. He approached the SUV, and asked if we needed help. After explaining who we were, and why we were stopped there, he invited Debra & me to take a walk down memory lane, and look through the home I lived in for 10 years beginning in 1957. It was too cool for school!!
