There is interest and we are creating a planning committee for the 50th Reunion sometime in the October/November, 2027, time frame. THIS IS A BIG DEAL!  50 YEARS!  You can help from anywhere so please watch for an announcement to help in planning. Also, help us by locating missing classmates identified on the tab on the left.  Our reunion is open to people from other classes--it will be fun to see friends from other years--just send their names and year they graduated via Contact Us and we will add them to the database.  We will be setting up a gmail and Facebook page in the next few weeks.

The information below is the Class of '76 Reunion that we are welcome to attend this year:

Friday and Saturday, October 23-24, 2026
Registration is now open for our get together Friday and Saturday October 23-24 of 2026.  Since we’re planning for the weekend ourselves (no reunion company 3rd party) please help us out by using the three easy steps.
• First: Update your contact information using westhigh76reunion@gmail.com.
Please send us your current email address, additional contact info is fine too.  Include how you would like your name tag(s) to read, or it’s up to us to wing it.  If you are interested in the Friday Campus Tour, let us know.
• Second: Zelle $95 per person registration fee using westhigh76reunion@gmail.com.
We’re only using Zelle for electronic funds transfer (easiest & cleanest).  If you would rather send a check, it gets a bit more complicated, but doable.

Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak (the original Pointe Resort), literally across the street from Aunt Chilada’s, has provided the reunion attendees with a discount for the weekend. They will hold as many rooms as they can, but when they’re out...they’re out. So... if you’re interested, book early. They have a liberal
cancellation policy.
• Once we’ve received your updated contact information and payment, a Microsoft Word Alumni Update form will be emailed to you. When returning, include your updated photo... or a favorite from the West High days.  All photos will be posted in vivid color. Email the form back to us as an attachment,
again using westhigh76reunion@gmail.com. Additional blank Alumni forms will be posted on the Facebook group too. All the updates will be included in the Mini-Yearbook that is included in the cost of registration and will be handed out to each alumnus after group photos on Saturday evening.
• Monday August 31: Drop Dead Date for having your Yearbook Grad Pic on your name tag... after that, only your name will appear.
• The Facebook Group “West High Class of 76 Reunion”will also have info and updates for the weekend, so if you’re interested, please join us.
• Fun Old Photos, if you would like to share, please email us or post them on our Facebook group feed. Plans are to run nostalgic pics on video screens throughout evening along with tunes from our school days.

Reunion Itinerary

Friday October 23:
10:00 am: West High/Metro Tech Campus Tour. 19th & Thomas, parking TBA
11:30 am: Lunch at The Original Hamburger Works on 15th & Thomas
(Since 1977, yup...they’re still open for business!) Self-pay lunch.
5:00 pm: Happy Hour** mixer at Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak. 7677 N. 16th St.
We will be located outside at “Tombstone venue Cowboy Town” by the river. (and yes... they have a river too!) www.hiltonphoenixresortatthepeak.com
Saturday October 24:
Golf: We’re still working on that one. Please email us if you are interested and we can put together options. We’ll have firm plans later and send out updates.
4:00 pm: Informal Happy Hour** at Aunt Chilada’s before the official start time.

5:00 pm: Check-in, pick up name badges, more Happy Hour** & catching up.
6:00 pm: Dinner and video screen stuff. Southwest Caesar Salad, Spinach con Queso Dip, Steak & Chicken Fajitas (served with guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo and warm flour tortillas), Roasted Poblano Pasta Alfredo with grilled chicken, Machaca Enchiladas, Sweet Corn, Refried Beans & Rice. Dessert to follow.
9:00 pm: Grade school class photos (no official photographer scheduled as of this time... new phones have great cameras) at the front of the venue, followed by a West High School group photo with ALL alumni (all classes).
**The Mini-Yearbooks will be distributed after the group photo, so you don’t have to
keep track of them all evening.
10:00 pm: Our 50 Year event is entered into the history books, time to say gnite.
Sunday October 25:
Open day, travel day, fun day, your day!
Enjoy the opportunity to have breakfast, lunch or dinner with your favs.
** All Happy Hours will be cash bars.
If by chance you would like to decline or that we have reached the wrong person, please let us know and we will remove you from the reunion contact list.
