It is always so sad to loose a classmate.  Susan and Sharon were both wonderful vital young ladies.  I remember their smiles.  Susan and I became friends years later on Facebook.  She was a valiant fighter.  Rest in Peace Susan.  In fact, you won the battle.  Sending you eternal love. Bobbie

i was so sorry to hear about Susan's  passing.  I have such fond memories of the " Carlson twins" from our Grammar schoold days at Havens.  My favorite ones of our Camp Fire girls group and the times we shared at Camp Augusta.  i lost track of them until we lived in Piedmont and Sharon and I carpooled our kids to  nursery school.  Then at the 50th reunion I had such a wonderful time catching up with Susan and meeting Dave.  As I remember Susan as smart, funny and so kind.  I am sure whe will be missed by her family and close friends. It seems we are losing too many of our classmates.     I will remember her fondly,  Linda Hall Jones

I too fondly remember the Carlson Twins at Havens, but lost track at Piedmont High, at least socially. What I do remember is that their father was a monsterat the plate at the famous baseball battle of the sixth grade, which I'm probably the only one who riememnbers. Anyway he led our class to a huge victory over the other class.
