Dede(Diana) Lewis Green

I attended the University of Mexico in Mexico city,Mexico. Then Meritt College in Oakland. I youth hostled through Europe for several months. Some of our group were also from Piedmont High. We visited 25 countries including going through the wall of Berlin into Russia where they took our passports from us for 6 weeks. The entire trip was an unforgetable experience.
Then end of my Sophmore year I married Dan who had gone to San Jose State and we bought our first home. 4 months later I was pregnant with our first daughter. The next year we started a State Farm Agency business.
I returned to college to become a Registered Nurse. I loved the profession and the variety.
I currently have lived in Danville,Ca for the last 20 years. It a cute little town, fun to walk the Iron Horse Trail ,sidewalk cafes .Ambience galore.

Midge Anne attended Sonoma State to become a teacher although she did not stay in that profession she went on into nursing. Cheryl Anne went into the Navy and now has a degree in Health administration from U.T. and Denise Anne went into the Air Force attended Chico State and is now a Oncology Specialist
My oldest grandaughter is starting her sophmore year at the Universtiy of Washingon. My three grandaughters are Danielle,Rachelle,Angela and my grandson in Corwyn. Brag trime when my grandson was 3 he took apart my daughters vacum cleaner and then he put the vacum cleaner back together and it ran.
I was of course very impressed.
I think we have another Engineer in our family.
My children live out of state so we dont see enough of each other that is the good news bad news.

I live simple and enjoy it.
I usually have two dogs. Currently I have a Rotweiller and a Corgi and just adore them.
Between some close friends doing lunches,breakfasts, theatre,coffee, walks in the morning and once a year or two we travel or cruise .
Life is good !!
