"The Irene & Herbert Emde Scholarship Fund"

Established through the Pierre Educational Foundation has been growing, but it

needs more tax-deductible donations in order to begin giving an annual scholarship.

Several Riggs High classmates have donated to this scholarship, and others have suggested it be

put on this web site to encourage donations.  This scholarship  will be given to help

graduating Riggs High students  pursue their dream of becoming teachers.

Those wishing to donate should write the check to "Irene l. and Herbert C. Emde Scholarship" and send to

the Pierre Educational Foundation, P.O. Box 94, Pierre, SD 57501.

Both small and large donations will be appreciated. We are hoping that you will be able to contribute to this worthwhile scholarship, which will help students become teachers.

See announcement below for more information.

Thank You
