I left Pierre in my Jr year and moved to West Jordan, finished high school in Utah, served a Mormon mission to Texas, got hitched to my high school sweetheart, and went back to college to study computers/computer programming and received my BS from Stevens-Henager College (graduated with Honors).
I went to work for Packard Bell Technical Support where I learned logic and troubleshooting skills. I joined the Premier Support team who handled the "Holy Crap, computers can do that?" issues. That's when the tech bubble burst and I was laid off. Since then I worked for various other tech call centers. Then I started working as a developer for Heritage Communications, a small wireless communications company. 2.5 years later, the company tanked, and I started working for Making Memories, a knickknack/scrapbooking company as their lead developer/webmaster/helpdesk. From there, a friend mentioned that he was getting a promotion, and would be happy to recommend me for a job at his company. I submitted my resume and landed the job here at inContact.
(2019 update)
Wow, that was a long time ago. From inContact, I worked a number of jobs as a programmer. Along the way, I got divorced. And am now happily remarried. I have 2 new stepsons. One is special needs. If you wanna know more email me.
In my spare time I play catch with my daughters, play WOW, watch the occasional Sci-Fi program, and manage our in-home domain (not that we necessarily need a domain, but hey, I'm a geek, it's what I do). I also work part-time as a programmer for hire with some friends here in the valley.
