Since 1989. I attended SDSU and graduated with 2 degrees in 1993. Went off to Arizona to run and ORvis Fly Fishing Shop and Guiding OUtfitter for a few years. Back to Pierre in 1996 to be Executive Director of the National Professional Anglers Association. Moved to Brainerd, MN in 2002 to be Executive Director of the In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Trail. Got tired of being on the road nonstop and moved to Grand Rapids, MN in 2007. My current job is a mix of things. I host a fishing show called Pros' Pointers, write articles for 4 different publications, due photograghy for the company ( had nine magazine covers in 2008), and handle the production of the tv show, strip writing and sales. So, I pretty much fish for a living.
Amanda and I enjoy hunting, fishing, bowling, and playing with Cheddar in our spare time. We are in the process of buying land and building a new home together. Life is good.

At the homecoming ceremonies, Kurt Brost said I was the most likely to make a living with a fish. Well, he was correct.
