Bill witnessed a robbery and the cowards first kidnapped, beat, then shot him in the back as he was trying to escape.  He was left to die on Exit 10 on the Palisades Parkway.  He was a fun guy to hang out with.  He loved listening to the Beatles.  At the time of his death, he was engaged to Mary Pollock Thomas.
