Joyce V. Blackman

Horse Trainer, 42

 

Joyce Vutianitis Blackman of Waterville, Me, a former resident of Monticello and a horse trainer at the Monticello Raceway, died Saturday, October 22, 2005, in Maine.  She was 42 years of age.  The daughter of Louis and the late Janice Vutianitis, she was born November 1, 1962 in Mt. Vernon.  Mrs. Blackman was an EMT for the Monticello Ambulance Corps.  She is survived by her father of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; her husband, Steven Blackman, at home; a son, James McDonnell of Bloomingburg; two sisters, Denice Politz of Connecticut and Patrice Dromazos of Hurleyville; a brother, Peter Vutianitis of Warwick; four nephews; and a niece.  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the DeWitt Funeral Home, 64 Center St., Pine Bush, with the Rev. Robert Hewitt officiating.  Burial will be made in the New Prospect Cemetary in Pine Bush.

I didnt know Joyce was gone.  She was a great gal.
