I will always remember Chester....wearing those tennis sweaters. He had them, in all colors....White, Navy and Maroon. A kind and gentle guy, who left this world way too soon.

I remember Chester too! We used to hang out at his house after school (he lived down on Berlin Road near Sharon McCrane's house). I think he was a hemophiliac and he had to be careful because if he started to bleed hid body couldn't stop (no clotting ability) -- (but never talked about it). He so wanted to be strong and fit in but he had a hard time because of his illness. He always told us he wouldn't live to see 30-- I wonder if he did. He was a sweet guy.

Tim, (Chet) and I were the best of friends from 3rd grade on until he passed at his home in Virginia. I spoke to his widowed wife Donna not too long ago and hope to visit her in the near future and to meet their daughter Victoria. You know him as Chester but his correct name was Timothy Clinton Frawley Davis. After being struck by a beer truck as a young boy, he developed a limp in his stride thus the name Chester became his nickname after the character played on TV's Gunsmoke! Tim came to visit me when I lived in California and that week was great. I introduced him to Yosemite Park where he fell in love with the true nature of the place. I will always miss him as well and there will never be another friend in my life like Chet. I truly loved the man!
