Barry A. Derr , age 74, of Blackwood NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday Nov 15. 2023. Predeceased by his parents Joseph & Dorothy Derr. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee-Maguire) "Mimi" Derr. Devoted father of Barry Jr. & Denise Derr.
Survived by his Sister Debbie (nee-Derr) Douglass, Predeceased brother Joseph (Peggy) Jr. Predeceased by his mother & father in law John & Margaret Maguire. Also survived by his in-laws, Fran Ostopowycz, John & Bernadette Maguire, Maureen & Donald (late) St. John, Pat & Paul (late) Amenhauser and Theresa (Maguire) Stomackin. Also many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America. Family and Friends will be received on Saturday Nov 25, 2023 for a "Celebration of Life" at Filomena's Lakeview 1738 Cooper St Deptford, NJ 08096 at 12:30PM.

I remember lots of walks home from school together. Also, Friday nights playing touch football under the lights on Grant City's parking lot (including the night JFK died). And of course his machine-gun laugh. Rest in peace, Barry.
