Life Since High School

Married Stan in 1967, lived in Lindenwold raising our two boys until 1986. Moved to Newark, OH for Stan's employment. Both our children and five grandchildren live nearby, as does my brother Bob Telling. I retired from Denison University, Dept of Psychology in February, 2008. We enjoy family and friends, traveling, playing traditional music, and good food and wine. Don't know when I found time to work.

High School Memories:

Loved the social atmosphere of OHRS. Especially enjoyed singing and piano accompaniment of chorus, field hockey, secretarial curriculum, and student council activities, prom committees and football games. Stan and I went steady all through high school. Our closest friends were from both the classes of '65 & '66.

The trio, A'Chording to Tradition, Stan and Flo Hortz and Roger Mace. Flo plays the hammered dulcimer (forerunner of the piano), Stan on guitar and our buddy Roger on fiddle and mandolin. We study and play the traditional dance or parlor music brought to this country by the settlers from Europe.
